Sumitomo Chemical, a Japanese conglomerate, has a Joint Venture with Saudi Aramco for production in Saudi Arabia. The result of the JV is that Petro Rabigh produces 600 KTA of C4-LLDPE that is suitable for film applications such as lamination film, stretch film, clothes packaging, agricultural film and general-purpose film.
LLDPE is produced through a Sumitomo gas phase process with a remarkable catalyst system that delivers products with an excellent combination of neat resin performance and formulation.
