Product Details
EVA is a solid copolymer made from ethylene and vinyl acetate (10-40% VA). EVA is an elastomeric-type material, soft and flexible with good clarity, gloss, low-temperature toughness and stress-crack resistance.
EVA resins are used in the manufacture of a wide range of consumer and industrial goods. In packaging applications, EVA is used to produce a range of different films including those for direct food-contact and greenhouse applications. EVA can also be readily moulded or extruded into soft plastic goods, including hoses and tubing, is used in hot-melt adhesives, wire and cable insulation and as a solar cell encapsulant. EVA is also widely used as padding in sports equipment and in a broad range of leisure footwear as a shock absorber(e.g. sports shoes)
