Braskem High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) offers a comprehensive portfolio of bimodal and unimodal grades suitable for blow moulding, pipe, and film extrusion applications. As a world leader in bio-based polyethylene production, Braskem's I'm green™ Polyethylene is derived from renewable ethanol sugarcane, providing a sustainable alternative with the same properties, performance, and versatility as standard polyethylene.

General Information:

Braskem HDPE bimodal and unimodal grades are ideal for producing:

  • Small bottles with high chemical resistance
  • Dairy beverage packaging with excellent organoleptic properties
  • Hygiene and cleaning product packaging with high surfactant resistance
  • Cosmetic packaging with a great balance of mechanical properties and chemical resistance

I'm green™ Polyethylene:

I'm green™ Polyethylene is a biopolymer produced from ethanol sugarcane, offering a renewable alternative to traditional polyethylene. Braskem’s bio-based polyethylene includes LDPE, LLDPE, and HDPE, and is primarily used for rigid and flexible packaging (food and beverage, cleaning and personal care products), toys, containers, and plastic bags.
