PC, PC/ABS & PC/ASA - Polycarbonate & Polycarbonate Alloys with ABS & ASA

Lupoy is LG Chem's brand of polycarbonate (PC) and polycarbonate alloys, combining the benefits of PC with styrenic materials such as acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and reinforcing materials including glass fibres. PC is a versatile engineering thermoplastic, known for its transparency, toughness, dimensional stability,m and high heat performance. Blending with ABS, the material gains ductility and low-temperature impact resistance, while blending with ASA improves weatherability for outdoor applications.

Lupoy Portfolio:

The Lupoy portfolio consists of general-purpose PCs for injection moulding, extrusion, and compounding, available in transparent and coloured options. For more demanding applications, the Lupoy range includes advanced PC compounds equipped with lubricants, stabilisers, and fillers to enhance processing and physical performance. In addition, there are alloys with ABS and ASA for improved low-temperature performance and outdoor use. The entire Lupoy portfolio is available in sustainable alternatives made from mechanically recycled, bio-sourced, or chemically recycled feedstocks. LG is highly experienced in colour matching and delivering consistently coloured material worldwide.
