Enhancing Compound Performance
Produced by DOW, FUSABOND™ functionalised polymers are designed to enhance the performance of various compounds. These polymers act as compatibilisers, coupling agents, and impact modifiers, making them versatile for a range of applications. Certain grades are also utilised as adhesives in pipe coating processes.
Key Applications:
Nylon Impact Modification: Enhances the toughness and durability of nylon materials.
Compatibilising Dissimilar Polymers: Facilitates the blending of different polymers or polymer blends, improving their compatibility.
Coupling Agent: Acts as a bridge between different materials, enhancing their bonding properties.
Adhesion Promoter: Improves the adhesion of coatings and other materials.
Pipe Coatings: Used as adhesives in the coating of pipes, ensuring strong and durable bonds.
