Free Flowing Additive
When using powders, the speed rate is crucial as they should not slow down the production cycle. Smaller particle sizes and softer powders often do not flow well, requiring a medium to separate the particles. Caldic Silica acts as an anti-caking agent, allowing the use of bulk powders efficiently, with dosages typically ranging from 0.5% to 1.0% of dry powders. It is effective for both dry and wet powders, absorbing humidity, oils, and other liquids, coating the original powder particles to improve flowability and prevent lump formation. For wet powders, the dosage depends on the liquid content, up to 3.0% or more. Caldic Silica is used in dry-blends to provide an easy-to-use, free-flowing product and ensures uniform dispersion of active ingredients.
Applications for Free Flowing Additives
Caldic Silica is ideal for:
- Animal feed
- Agrochemicals
- Chemicals and industrial applications
- Extinguishing powders
- Antifoams
- Industrial automation
Dry Liquids
Dry Liquids are mixtures of liquids supported in powder media. Caldic Silica, an inert material, can absorb large quantities of liquids, transforming them into the most suitable solid physical form. It is used to absorb viscous liquids, transform liquids into solids, and support active liquid ingredients. Caldic Silica is a perfect free-flowing carrier that allows fast incorporation of active ingredients during mixing, facilitating transport and storage.
