CALIBRE™ MEGARAD™ Polycarbonate (PC) Resins are produced by Trinseo in the US for use in medical applications where sterilisation is necessary.

Applications for the medical industry often undergo gamma or electron-beam irradiation, which in turn causes some discolouration.
The patented technology from Trinseo allows excellent colour recovery following irradiation which has been proven successful for many years.

Trinseo offer a range of melt flows to be used in applications such as labware, packaging and drug delivery devices.
