Brand information
LAPRENE® TPE-S (TPS)
Celanese TPE-S Laprene® is a thermoplastic elastomer based on SEBS (styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene) and therefore Laprene® TPS has several important benefits over TPE-S (TPS) based on SBS. These include: Lower compression set , better chemical resistance , higher abrasion , better UV and heat resistance.
Laprene® TPS that can be processed either by injection molding or extrusion. Laprene® TPE-S is also suitable for 2K molding with PP (standard grades) as well as with many polar polymers such as ABS, PC, PC/ABS, PMMA, SMMA, ASA, PETG (special grades).
Laprene® TPS is used for in a variety of applications , including many in the Automotive industry including car mats, air vents sealing, firewall grommets and doorsill plates.
