The ATTANE® ULDPE product range includes C8 Octane very low density products and C6 Hexane grades for cast film applications.

General Information

Compared to DOWLEX® PE Resins, ATTANE® ULDPE Resins offer greater low temperature flexibility and flex crack resistance, making them ideal for containing liquids that move freely within a package. This helps to avoid leaks and spills while maintaining excellent optics, high tear resistance, low seal initiation temperature (SIT), and very good hot tack.

Key packaging applications for ATTANE® ULDPE Resins include heavy duty shipping sack film, turf bag film, consumer bag film, stretch hood film, cheese film, meat film, coffee packaging film, detergents film, and frozen food film. They are also widely used for silage wrap film, mulch films, and extruded membranes.

ATTANE® might be suitable for applications like frozen food, stretch hood, and similar uses, such as replacing EVA in formulations.
