LAPRENE® TPE-S (TPS) - Superior Performance and Versatility
Celanese TPE-S Laprene® is a thermoplastic elastomer based on SEBS (styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene), offering several benefits over SBS-based TPE-S (TPS). These include lower compression set, better chemical resistance, higher abrasion resistance, and improved UV and heat resistance.
Laprene® TPS can be processed by injection moulding or extrusion. It is also suitable for 2K moulding with PP (standard grades) and many polar polymers such as ABS, PC, PC/ABS, PMMA, SMMA, ASA, and PETG (special grades).
Laprene® TPS is used in various applications, particularly in the automotive industry, including car mats, air vent sealing, firewall grommets, and doorsill plates.
