Orgalloy Polyamide Alloys by Arkema: High-Performance and Easy Processing

Orgalloy polyamide alloys, produced by Arkema, are a blend of PA and PE, offering the high-performance characteristics of nylon alongside the economical and easy processing of polyethylene. With a balanced set of properties, Orgalloy provides:

• Low density

• Dimensional stability

• Chemical resistance

• Barrier properties

• Thermal resistance

• Polymer compatibility

• Easy processing

The enhanced barrier properties make Orgalloy extremely suitable for use in cable jacketing and connectors. Available in a range of grades for injection moulding and extrusion, Orgalloy is an excellent alternative where moisture may have been an issue for standard nylons.

The Orgalloy product range consists of three families:

• R and RS: Rigid grades

• LE: Semi-flexible grades

• LT: Flexible grades
