General Information on Polypropylene

Polypropylene is the most versatile plastic and can be converted by all main production processes, including blown film, cast film, extrusion blow moulding (EBM), injection stretch blow moulding (ISBM), thermoforming, injection moulding, fibre spinning, and extrusion. Polypropylene is typically divided into three main groups, each displaying different outstanding properties. Therefore, Polypropylene Resins are used in many different applications:

• PP homopolymer: Highest stiffness

• PP copolymer: Highest impact resistance

• PP random copolymer: Highest transparency
