Sumitomo Chemical and Saudi Aramco Joint Venture

Sumitomo Chemical, a Japanese conglomerate, has a Joint Venture with Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia. Petro Rabigh, the result of this JV, produces 600 KTA of C4-LLDPE suitable for various film applications, including lamination film, stretch film, clothes packaging, agricultural film, and general-purpose film. LLDPE is produced through a Sumitomo gas phase process with a remarkable catalyst system, delivering excellent resin performance and formulation.

Main Grades available are:

• FS150A: General purpose film, lamination film, stretch film

• FS153S: Heavy duty liner, garment packaging, agricultural film

• FS350A: Cast stretch film, lamination film, wire and cable
