EVA is a synthetic resin produced by copolymerising ethylene and vinyl acetate. Its density and flexibility increase with the vinyl acetate content. EVA is used in various applications, including foam moulding products like sneaker outsoles and film adhesives. Hanwha Total Petrochemical's EVA for solar batteries, a high-value product, was recognised as a world-class product in 2015 for its technology.
