Talcoprene® - High Stability Polypropylene Compounds

Talcoprene® represents a family of polypropylene homopolymer and copolymer filled with talc. These products are developed for technical applications operating under various thermal conditions. They are characterised by high dimensional stability, along with good aesthetic and mechanical properties.

Coupling with Other Polymeric Materials: Talcoprene® can be co-moulded with elastomeric compounds from the SO.F.TER. product range, including Forprene® (TPV), Laprene® (SEBS), and Sofprene® (SBS).

Processing Method: The Talcoprene® range includes grades exclusively for injection moulding.

Recycling: Talcoprene® is fully recyclable and can be reused after regrinding. Users should conduct their own tests to verify that the compound obtained by mixing virgin and reground granules is suitable for specific applications and meets the required properties.

Storage: This product should be stored in a covered facility, away from moisture and heat.
