Hylon® PA6 and PA66 Compounds

Hylon® PA6 and PA66 compounds, produced by Ravago Manufacturing, are made from virgin resin and are known for their excellent processability, superior mechanical properties, and high-quality surface finish. These compounds are designed for injection moulding and extrusion applications and are available unfilled or reinforced with various fillers, including glass fibre, glass bead, carbon fibre, and minerals.

Hylon® compounds offer enhanced performance characteristics, such as:

• Heat stabilisation

• UV resistance

• Hydrolysis resistance

• Laser markability

• Impact modification

• Good colourability with custom colours available upon request

Hylon® also provides excellent flame retardancy and electrical insulation properties. The grades range from V2 class to V0 class, available in both halogenated and halogen-free options with different flame retardant additives, including brominated, polymeric halogen, melamine, and phosphorus-based or halogen and phosphorus-free.
