Sumitomo Chemical and Saudi Aramco Joint Venture
Sumitomo Chemical, a Japanese conglomerate, has a Joint Venture with Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia. Petro Rabigh, the result of this JV, produces 300 KTA of HDPE for various uses, including film, injection moulding, and blow moulding for small and medium containers. Petro Rabigh utilises the Hostalen process, a slurry cascade process, to deliver outstanding HDPE multimodal products.
Blown Film: F0554 – Shopping bags, garbage bags, industrial liners
Blow Moulding: B2555 – Small to medium size containers
