ABS SICOFLEX®

ABS SICOFLEX® is a range of ABS-compounds with excellent mechanical and thermal properties, and a high gloss finish, produced by our parent company, Ravago. This makes ABS SICOFLEX® an ideal material for durable goods across various sectors, including automotive applications.

To meet different needs, a range of SICOFLEX® grades have been developed, each optimising one or more key characteristics. These include:

• Flame retardant
• High impact
• Heat resistant
• Electroplating
• Glass-filled
   

The complete range of all SICOFLEX® grades is available on request in a wide variety of cadmium-free and lead-free colours. ABS SICOFLEX® is available in prime compounds as well as high-quality recycled and industrial quality compounds.

Main SICOFLEX® Compounds:

• Sicoflex® FR Series: ABS resins designed for injection moulding applications requiring aesthetic properties combined with good impact and processability.
• Sicoflex® Glass Fibre Reinforced Grades: Specifically designed for injection moulding applications requiring high rigidity and dimensional stability. Also available based on post-industrial quality raw material feedstock.
• Sicoflex® Durables Series: ABS resins designed for injection moulding applications requiring aesthetic properties combined with good impact and processability.
• Sicoflex® HH and HI Series: ABS resins designed for injection moulding parts for automotive applications.
• Industrial Quality Sicoflex® MZ: ABS resins designed for injection moulding applications, offering a good compromise between technical properties and price, suitable for a wide range of applications.
   

Portfolio:

• High Flow Grades: Ideal for injection moulding applications with long flow paths or extreme length/thickness ratios, offering a combination of processing ease and mechanical properties. High flow grades also shorten cycle times and increase production rates.
• Electroplating Grade: Suitable for bath and shower appliances, pens, cosmetics, automotive, and decorations. Exhibits good surface properties, easy processing, and excellent adhesion.
• Automotive Grades: Formulated to meet automotive industry requirements, offering high stiffness, toughness, heat resistance, and easy processability.
• Impact-Resistant Grades: Suitable for applications requiring very good impact resistance, even at low temperatures.
• Heat-Resistant Grades: Developed for applications exposed to high temperatures for long periods, suitable for automotive and appliance industries.
• Flame-Retardant Grades: Suitable for applications requiring high fire safety and flammability properties. Includes standard UL-listed V-0 grades and poly-biphenyl-ether-free grades.
• Coloured ABS-Compounds: Available in almost all desired colours, providing numerous opportunities for fancy design.
• Glass Fibre Reinforced Grades: Offer high modulus, excellent processing, good surface quality, high thermal stability, and low creep.
   

Industrial Quality:

In addition to the extended range of virgin ABS grades, SICOFLEX® offers several industrial quality grades in black colour, made from high-quality recycled ABS resins.
