AXELERON FO 8864 NT CPD Natural is a high molecular weight medium-density polyethylene compound recommended for fiber optic and conventional metallic conductor LV cable jacketing applications. The compound can be colored and has very good extrusion processability. AXELERON FO 8864 NT CPD provides a tough cable jacketing with excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance. The compound incorporates UV stabilization to improve resistance to direct sunlight exposure.
DHDA-8864 Natural provides excellent low temperature optic signal attenuation performance in fiber optic cable jacketing applications. This is achieved by the combination of reduced extrusion shrink-back stress with optimized low temperature tensile modulus properties.
